Business Support Role
Business Support provides high-quality administrative, clerical, and coordination support across Voluntary Services, Heart and Soul, and the Involvement and Partnerships teams within CPFT.
About the Role
Reporting to the Voluntary Services Manager, the role supports the effective delivery of volunteering, participation, and engagement activities through recruitment administration, database management, communications, procurement, finance support, and general business administration.
The post holder acts as a key point of contact for volunteers, participants, staff, and stakeholders, helping to ensure efficient processes, accurate record-keeping, and a positive experience for all involved in the services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting volunteer and participant recruitment processes
- Maintaining accurate databases and records
- Processing DBS documentation
- Raising purchase orders
- Managing expenses
- Coordinating communications
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to service leads

The post holder will act as a first point of contact for volunteers, participants, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently. They will also support the promotion of volunteering, involvement, and engagement activities through newsletters, social media content, communications, and events, helping to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of services across the Trust.
