Volunteer Social Media Executive
We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Executive to manage and grow our online presence. You will manage our digital content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to help us connect with individuals seeking affordable therapy and raise awareness about mental health.
What difference will you make?
1 in 4 Londoners are reported to suffer from common mental health conditions but with lengthy NHS waiting lists and expensive private options, many people struggle to find support.
This role is essential in enabling us to bridge that gap and reach those in need of quality mental health support without lengthy wait lists or big bills.
Through effective social media campaigns you will help us promote our low-cost counselling to those who need it, by letting them know how to sign up and helping to de-stigmatise mental health support. This could make a big difference by ensuring people get the support they need.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates who have the following skills:
- Platform Proficiency: Confident, practical knowledge of managing business or creator profiles on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Design & Editing: Experience working with basic creative tools e.g., Canva.
- Empathetic Communication: Ability to communicate with extreme sensitivity, emotional intelligence, and respect for mental health topics.
- Organisation: Self-motivated to manage 6–8 hours of weekly tasks independently while working remotely.
- Passion for mental health awareness and reducing stigma around accessing counselling.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
