Role Description

The (Volunteer) Strategic Executive Assistant will provide high-level support to the leadership team, helping coordinate strategic initiatives, meetings, and partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Managing calendars
  • Preparing presentations and reports
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Maintaining documentation related to projects and stakeholder engagement

This is a volunteer position and is fully remote, requiring consistent communication, reliable availability, and a proactive approach to supporting strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to handle schedules, deadlines, and parallel projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email drafting, report writing, and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Research and analytical skills to gather information, synthesize insights, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Digital literacy skills, including proficiency with remote collaboration tools, document management platforms, and presentation software.
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Relevant experience in executive support, project coordination, or operations in startups, innovation, or nonprofit settings is beneficial.
  • A commitment to innovation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a remote, volunteer capacity is essential.
