We’re looking for a skilled Volunteer Web Developer to optimize our website, improve user experience, and ensure seamless performance. Flexible, remote role use your HTML, CSS, and CMS skills to make a real-world impact.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Volunteer Web Developer with strong experience in WordPress and Elementor to help us build, maintain, and manage our website. You will work closely with our UX/UI team to translate design ideas into fast, responsive, and functional web pages.
Key Skills & Experience
- WordPress & Elementor Expertise (Most Important) Hands-on experience building, customizing, and managing sites using WordPress and Elementor page builder.
- Custom CSS Coding (Most Important) Ability to write custom CSS code to adjust styling, tweak pre-built layouts, and overcome page builder limitations for pixel-perfect execution.
- Website Management & Maintenance Proven experience with day-to-day web maintenance, updating plugins/themes, managing backups, fixing broken links, and maintaining site security and speed.
- Embedding Features & Plugins Experience selecting, configuring, and testing third-party plugins, widgets, and forms (e.g., contact forms, search filters, social embeds) to extend site functionality.
- Collaborating with UX/UI Teams Ability to take UI wireframes and visual guidelines and turn them into functional, user-friendly pages.

What will you be doing?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Volunteer Web Developer to collaborate closely with our UX/UI team to build, refine, and maintain our public-facing website. You will turn design wireframes and mockups into responsive, functional web pages while embedding interactive features to give visitors a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design Integration Translate UX/UI wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets into clean, responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
- Plugin & Feature Integration Identify, configure, and embed third-party plugins, widgets, and interactive tools (e.g. forms, search filters, media embeds, social feeds).
- Front-End Styling & Customization Write custom code to extend template capabilities and adapt pre-built components to match our UX/UI guidelines.
- Performance & Testing Test cross-browser compatibility, optimize page load speed, fix layout bugs, and ensure WCAG accessibility compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Webflow).
- Experience implementing plugins, third-party scripts, and custom web functionality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers and turn visual ideas into working web features.
