About Entrext
Entrext (Entrepreneur’s Next) is a venture studio that identifies problems, validates markets, builds products, and brings together founding teams to operate them.
We’re looking for someone who wants to work closely with us long-term, especially someone who is genuinely interested in startups, partnerships, founders, and building businesses.
This is a volunteer-based role. There is no fixed stipend attached to the role.
If you simply want to be associated with interesting startups, meet founders and operators, understand how businesses are built, and learn by doing, this could be a good fit.
What you’ll work on
1. Mentor Partnerships
We are constantly building a network of experienced founders, operators, specialists, and mentors who can contribute to the startups we are building.
You will:
- Receive relevant mentor profiles and research from our team
- Identify the right people to approach
- Reach out and start conversations
- Explain what Entrext is building and why their involvement could be valuable
- Follow up with interested people
- Get them onto a meeting with our team
- Help move the conversation towards a partnership
Your job is primarily opening and developing the relationship. Our team will handle the final conversation and closure.
2. Startup & Ecosystem Partnerships
We work with different startup programs, platforms, companies and ecosystems that can potentially support our portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You will:
- Research relevant partner programs
- Identify programs that our startups can benefit from
- Apply to relevant programs
- Find decision-makers when there is no obvious application route
- Reach out to them directly
- Initiate conversations
- Align meetings with relevant people
- Help us build long-term ecosystem relationships
Not every program will work out. A big part of the role is learning how to find the right person and create an entry point.
3. Venture / Operating Exposure
If you want to go beyond partnerships, you can also work alongside the startups and products we are building.
Depending on your interests, you may:
- Work with founders and early teams
- Help solve operational problems
- Research markets and customers
- Work on growth or distribution
- Understand how products are being built
- Participate in experiments
- Identify problems and figure out possible solutions
You don’t need to know everything beforehand.
The expectation is simple: figure things out, execute, and learn along the way.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who:
- Is genuinely curious about startups and entrepreneurship
- Can communicate confidently with new people
- Is comfortable reaching out to strangers
- Can research and identify the right people to approach
- Is persistent with follow-ups
- Takes ownership instead of waiting for instructions
- Can commit for the long term
- Wants exposure to real startup building, not just a certificate or title

Commitment
This is a volunteer, long-term opportunity.
We are not looking for someone who wants to spend two weeks here and move on.
