VOR Project Coordinator | McLaren Automotive | Woking, Surrey (on site / hybrid)
We're recruiting a VOR Project Coordinator for McLaren Automotive, based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking. You'll join the Aftersales Technical Support team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Support.
The role
The goal is to get McLaren customers' cars back on the road faster, across McLaren's global retailer network. You'll own VOR (Vehicle Off Road) reporting from start to finish, work open cases through to closure, and project manage the system changes that will automate VOR measurement.
This role is about coordination, analysis, and project delivery. You won't be diagnosing faults. You'll be the person who knows where every McLaren off road is, why it's stuck, and who needs to act.
What you'll do
- Define a single global VOR standard and build an accurate baseline of every vehicle off road, by market, retailer, model, and root cause
- Produce executive VOR reports and dashboards for McLaren's senior leadership
- Run weekly VOR reviews with regional teams and retailers, and chase actions through to closure
- Bring together engineering, parts, warranty, and field support into one plan for each stalled vehicle
- Flag vehicles at risk of long-term VOR before they escalate
- Own the business requirements for VOR changes in Dynamics 365 and the McLaren Retailer Portal, through UAT to release and adoption
- Give the Aftersales view on AI initiatives that help retailers fix more faults themselves
- Keep a continuous improvement backlog and manage process change into the network

What you'll bring
- Automotive manufacturer or retailer aftersales experience
- Enough understanding of vehicle systems and workshop processes to challenge case data credibly
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Microsoft skills, including building reports from imperfect data
- A track record of delivering process and IT change, from requirements through testing, release, and adoption
- Confident communication with everyone from technicians to executives
- Experience running several changing workstreams at once and closing actions out

Nice to have
- Premium or luxury brand experience
- Hands-on workshop background, including ICE and hybrid
- Dynamics 365 and Power BI
- A formal project management qualification
- Experience working across global, multi-time-zone networks
- Exposure to AI or automation in a service environment

Location
On site at the McLaren Technology Centre, Woking. The network is global, so you'll need some flexibility on working hours and the role may require occasional international travel.
