Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading mid-market infrastructure investment platform seeking a Vice President for its Asset Management team.
The platform invests across energy transition, utilities, transport, digital and social infrastructure, typically taking majority or full ownership positions. The team works closely with portfolio company management to drive value through strategic planning, operational improvement and active ownership.
The Role
The Vice President will take responsibility for individual portfolio companies, working with senior team members and supervising junior colleagues. The role combines financial oversight with direct engagement with management teams and boards.

Responsibilities
- Owning relationships with portfolio company management teams
- Developing and delivering strategic business plans
- Monitoring financial and operational performance
- Overseeing valuations, budgets, forecasts and financial models
- Identifying and implementing value creation initiatives
- Supporting management team development and incentive arrangements
- Reviewing contracts and commercial agreements
- Leading initiatives including bolt-on acquisitions, refinancing and capital allocation
- Preparing for and participating in board meetings
- Managing and developing junior team members
- Working with the investment team across acquisitions and exits

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years’ experience across infrastructure investing, asset management, corporate development, transaction advisory or an infrastructure-related business
- Experience working directly with senior management teams
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and business planning capabilities
- A track record of delivering strategic or operational initiatives
- Exposure to board-level discussions and governance
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge management
- Experience reviewing the work of junior colleagues
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong communication skills
