VP Commercial Finance - Hardware Operations - £150-170k + bonus
Location: King's Cross, London (Hybrid)
Travel: Frequent travel to Paris (once a fortnight)
A global technology organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support its Hardware Operations leadership team. This is a high-profile role partnering senior operational stakeholders across Europe and Asia, helping to drive performance, improve cost efficiency and support strategic decision-making across a complex international business.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the Hardware Operations Director and wider leadership team, providing financial insight, challenge and support across manufacturing, supply chain and operational activities. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decisions within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner senior operational leaders on strategic and day-to-day business decisions.
- Provide financial insight and challenge across manufacturing, supply chain and hardware operations.
- Drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Support investment decisions, business cases and transformation projects.
- Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis and performance reporting.
- Analyse cost drivers, productivity metrics and operational performance.
- Lead planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the function.
- Develop meaningful KPIs and management reporting to support decision-making.
- Work closely with operational stakeholders across Europe and manufacturing teams in Asia.
- Ensure financial implications are clearly understood and considered within key business decisions.
- Identify risks and opportunities to improve profitability and business performance.

Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- 10+ years' progressive finance experience.
- Strong finance business partnering experience within a large, complex multinational organisation.
- Experience partnering senior operational, manufacturing, supply chain or engineering stakeholders.
- Proven ability to challenge and influence senior non-finance leaders.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working across international teams and cultural boundaries.
- Background within technology, manufacturing, hardware, engineering or supply chain environments is advantageous.
- MUST HAVE: Experience working with manufacturing stakeholders
