VP, EMEA – Senior Commercial Lead
About the Role

We are seeking a senior commercial leader to own and grow Samba’s business across Europe as the VP, EMEA. As the most senior revenue voice in the region, you will:
- Build a high-performing commercial team
- Win marquee clients
- Establish Samba as the definitive platform for media intelligence, audience activation, and marketing measurement in European markets
This is a rare opportunity to build on an existing foundation—existing revenue, established partnerships, and a product critical to how brands plan, activate, and measure media investment. You’ll lead with speed, accountability, and a mix of strategy and delivery.
Your Responsibilities
Business Growth & P&L Ownership
- Set ambitious revenue targets, deliver precise forecasting, and consistently hit goals
- Oversee European P&L, ensuring profitability and growth scaling Samba’s full product suite
Team & Organisation
- Build and lead a high-performing European revenue team (sales, account management, partnerships)
- Recruit, develop, and retain top commercial talent to drive pipeline and quota attainment
- Define and enforce rigorous sales processes, CRM discipline, and pipeline hygiene

Client & Partner Strategy
- Drive new logo acquisition across brand advertisers, agencies, broadcasters, and platform partners
- Expand existing accounts through deeper relationships and full-suite adoption
- Secure engagement across Samba’s entire offering: programmatic media, measurement, data licensing, and outcomes
Go-to-Market Execution
- Define and implement the European go-to-market strategy, including:
- Pricing and packaging
- Channel approach (direct, indirect)
- Partner ecosystem development
- Serve as Samba’s executive presence in Europe, representing the company at:
- Industry events
- Client meetings with CMOs and senior brand marketers
- Key advertising and media bodies
Strategic Alignment & Market Intelligence
- Collaborate with global Sales, Product, Marketing, and Data teams to adapt Samba’s strategy for regional market needs
- Provide market intelligence to inform:
- Product roadmap development
- Samba Knowledge Graph evolution
- European expansion priorities
Who You Are
Core Attributes
- 12+ years of commercial experience, with 5+ years leading revenue teams across EMEA
- Deep domain expertise in:
- Digital advertising
- TV/streaming
- Media measurement
- Data and analytics
- Proven track record of building and scaling revenue organisations from scratch (hire, develop, and meet/Exceed quotas)
- A natural executive—comfortable:
- Pitching to CMOs
- Closing major partnerships
- Presenting to leadership boards
- Commercially driven yet operationally rigorous—builds processes, makes data-driven decisions, and holds teams accountable without micromanaging
- Commercial expertise in selling complex, consultative solutions to senior marketers

- Established relationships across major agency holding groups (WPP, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu)
- Brand advertisers, platforms, and publishers in Europe
- Proactive, autonomous, and fast-moving—turns ambiguity into clarity and delivers results
