VP Enterprise Data & Architecture
London | up to £180,000 + Benefits
This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead an enterprise-wide data, architecture, and AI strategy within a growing, data-driven organisation. Sitting at executive leadership level, you will drive the development of scalable data capabilities, modern technology architecture, and AI adoption programmes that directly influence business performance and decision-making.

The Role
Lead the enterprise data, analytics, systems architecture, AI enablement, and core IT functions.
- Define and execute the enterprise data strategy to improve data accessibility, quality, governance, and business value.
- Build and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams across data engineering, analytics, architecture, and technology.
- Own the enterprise data platform and architecture roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Establish data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across the organisation.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to align data and technology initiatives with strategic business objectives.
- Drive enterprise AI adoption, governance, and capability development, ensuring measurable business impact.
- Lead decisions around technology investments, vendor management, and build versus buy strategies.
- Deliver reporting and analytics capabilities that support faster and more effective business decision-making.
- Ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems, platforms, and business functions.

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership experience across enterprise data, analytics, architecture, and technology functions.
- Proven ability to develop and execute large-scale data and digital transformation strategies.
- Experience leading cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise-wide analytics.
- Strong knowledge of AI adoption, enablement, governance, and operationalisation within a business environment.
- Ability to influence and engage executive stakeholders, translating technical strategy into commercial outcomes.
- Experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to prioritise initiatives based on business value and ROI.
- Broad technical expertise across data engineering, enterprise architecture, systems integration, and IT operations.
