Contract Role – VP Full Stack Engineer – Solidity (smart contracts on Ethereum/blockchain) & Angular / Java – London/Onsite – 12 months initial – Inside IR35
We are looking for 3 experienced VP-level Software Engineers to join the team as contractors on an immediate basis. The team is looking for well-rounded engineers with experience across multiple technology areas, including Angular front-end development, Java server-side development, and Solidity smart contract development. Engineers should ideally be able to contribute across at least 2 of these 3 skill sets, with front-end development being the highest priority.
The ideal profile will have strong front-end experience combined with either Java or Solidity, although candidates with Java and Solidity experience will also be considered. The priority is approximately 70% front-end development, with the remaining 30% covering Java or Solidity-related development.

Role Overview:
Job Title: VP Full Stack Engineer – Solidity (smart contracts on Ethereum/blockchain) & Angular / Java
Location: Onsite – 5 days onsite per week in London
Contract Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months initial
Rate: £632.91 - 750 per day Inside IR35 (PAYE/Umbrella)
Required Skills & Experience
- VP-level software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in Angular/front-end development.
- Experience in at least 2 of the following 3 areas:
- Angular-based front-end development
- Java server-side/middle-tier development
- Solidity smart contract development
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript experience.
- Experience working across multiple programming languages, technologies, or ecosystems.
- Ability to work outside your primary technical specialism when required.
- Comfortable using AI development tools to support software development.
- Experience working with peer review processes.
- Strong understanding of both UI and server-side development.
- Ability to work effectively within a shared codebase.

- Financial services / financial technology experience.
- Experience working within DeFi environments.
- Experience with Solidity and smart contracts.
- Experience combining front-end and Solidity development.
- Experience combining front-end and Java development.
