We’re looking for a VP GTM, WPP Open, focused on our media planning, activation, and measurement capabilities, to lead the story, strategy, and market positioning of our products across planning, activation, and measurement.
As WPP transforms through AI, data and technology, WPP Open brings together our market-leading technology with the creativity, expertise and scale of our people. In this visible leadership role, you’ll shape how our media solutions are understood, launched and adopted by clients, partners and teams across WPP.

What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Global Head of GTM, Data and Tech Solutions you will:
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for WPP Open media products, features and applications.
- Shape product positioning, messaging, storytelling and competitive differentiation.
- Lead product launches, aligning teams around the go-to-market process and shared objectives.
- Create thought leadership, pitch materials, sales tools and client-facing content.
- Partner with Product Management, Solutions Engineering, Business Development and Marketing to build product and market knowledge.
- Translate client and prospect needs into relevant use cases, value propositions and product stories.
- Use customer, market and competitor insight to inform product strategy and commercial opportunities.
- Develop strategies that position WPP Open across the AdTech and MarTech landscape.
- Work with Communications, Demand Generation, Design, Content, Media and Events to activate go-to-market plans and measure their impact.
- Represent WPP Open in client conversations, pitches, industry events and thought leadership opportunities.
- Champion the voice of the customer and help refine the WPP Data and Technology Solutions product vision.
- Lead and develop a team, creating clarity, collaboration and accountability.
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive product marketing or go-to-market experience within media, advertising technology, marketing technology or a related digital environment.
- Experience shaping marketing strategies, positioning and messaging for products or technology solutions.
- Knowledge of the marketing and advertising technology landscape, including data, audience planning, activation and measurement.
- Understanding of data sharing, privacy, security and governance within marketing environments.
- Experience working with enterprise advertisers, publishers, agencies or technology providers.
- The ability to turn complex products, technology and client challenges into clear, engaging stories.
- Experience creating sales enablement materials and supporting pitches, proposals or solutions-led conversations.
- An evidence-led approach to market research, customer insight and competitive intelligence.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery as priorities evolve.
