Position Summary
The VP Head of Product Marketing is responsible for defining how Nuvei's products are positioned, packaged, launched, enabled, adopted, and scaled across global markets. Reporting to the CMO, this role sits at the intersection of Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Customer Success, translating product capabilities into compelling market narratives, differentiated positioning, repeatable go-to-market motions, and measurable commercial outcomes.
The role owns the full product marketing lifecycle—from market intelligence and customer insights through positioning, launch planning, sales enablement, and post-launch adoption—ensuring Nuvei's products are not only built successfully but understood, adopted, and sold successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Own the positioning, messaging, and narrative architecture for Nuvei's product portfolio.
- Develop product value propositions for different industries, buyer personas, and geographies.
- Maintain competitive differentiation and category positioning.
- Translate technical product capabilities into compelling commercial stories.
- Ensure consistency of product narratives across sales, marketing, analyst, and partner communications.
- Design product naming strategy and architecture.

Go-To-Market Strategy
- Lead global go-to-market planning and execution for major launches, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
- Define launch strategies, market prioritization, and rollout approaches.
- Establish launch tiering and prioritization frameworks.
- Partner with regional teams on localization and market-specific execution.
- Drive adoption beyond product launch through structured growth and reinforcement programs.
Sales Enablement
- Own global product sales enablement.
- Develop training programs, playbooks, battlecards, talk tracks, FAQs, and commercial collateral.
- Define "ready-to-sell" requirements and commercialization gates.
- Deliver live and on-demand training to commercial teams.
- Drive continued product adoption through just-in-time enablement models and AI-supported learning experiences.
Training the Sales Organization
- Design and deliver structured product training programs that equip Relationship Managers, Sales Development, Account Management, and other Commercial teams to confidently position, explain, and sell Nuvei’s products.
- Build scalable training journeys for new product launches, onboarding, refresher learning, and advanced product education.
- Ensure sales teams can translate product capabilities into relevant customer conversations, objection handling, competitive differentiation, and commercial value.
- Measure training effectiveness through readiness, adoption, usage, pipeline influence, and feedback from Commercial teams.
Shaping the Product Roadmap
- Systematically capture, synthesize, and prioritize input from Commercial teams to inform product roadmap decisions.
- Translate frontline feedback, customer demand signals, deal blockers, competitive insights, and regional market needs into clear product recommendations.
- Partner with Product leadership to ensure roadmap priorities are grounded in commercial reality and aligned with Nuvei’s growth priorities.
- Create structured feedback loops between Product, Commercial, and Customer-facing teams to improve product-market fit and accelerate adoption.
Market Intelligence & Customer Insights

- Lead competitive intelligence and market analysis programs.
- Conduct win/loss reviews and customer research.
- Define ideal customer profiles and segmentation strategies.
- Gather feedback from customers, sales teams, partners, and analysts to shape positioning and roadmap recommendations.
- Monitor industry, regulatory, and competitor developments.
Analyst & Influencer Relations
- Manage product-facing analyst engagement activities.
- Lead participation in analyst evaluations and market assessments.
- Develop thought leadership initiatives aligned to product strategy.
- Build relationships with analysts, partners, and industry influencers.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the Product Marketing team.
- Build expertise across positioning, commercialization, competitive intelligence, and enablement.
- Establish scalable operating models, processes, and best practices.
- Drive collaboration across Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Customer-facing teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Go-To-Market, Commercial Strategy, or related roles.
- Experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, commerce, or technology businesses.
- Proven success launching and scaling complex products globally.
- Strong positioning, messaging, and storytelling capabilities.
- Experience working closely with Product Management and Commercial teams.
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience building sales enablement and commercialization programs.
