The Role
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Investment Banking to lead financial analysis and the preparation of transaction materials across our advisory engagements. This is a hands-on role for a senior professional who can independently produce and review pitch decks, offering materials, financial models, and transaction teasers. You will work closely with senior leadership and client management teams, taking responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of work across multiple engagements.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with commercial judgment and can translate complex business and financial information into a clear, well-supported investment narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of pitch decks, investor presentations, offering materials, and transaction teasers.
- Build, review, and refine financial models, valuations, forecasts, and sensitivity analyses.
- Shape investment narratives supported by company performance, market research, and financial analysis.
- Manage day-to-day execution across multiple engagements, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Work directly with client management teams to gather information, challenge assumptions, and resolve gaps.
- Review and guide the work of analysts and associates while remaining actively involved in producing deliverables.
- Oversee the accuracy and consistency of financial models, written materials, and investor presentations.
- Coordinate due diligence workstreams and the preparation of responses to investor and transaction-related questions.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify key transaction considerations and ensure deliverables support each engagement’s objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
