VP, Investment Banking
Lynam Partners is a capital raising advisory firm that connects founders with the right investors. Our team blends investment banking experience, entrepreneurial grit, and a culture of elite performance to deliver results that matter.
The Role
As VP, Investment Banking, you sit at the front line of the business. You'll work a deal book worth billions, run due diligence calls with companies seeking to raise capital, build a full picture of their team, product, and raise, and decide whether they fit our active mandates.
You'll also be expected to work fast. We run lean and we build our own tooling. Claude Code is part of the daily workflow here, from diligence memos to screening models to internal automation. If you can't or won't use AI tooling to move quicker, this isn't the seat for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
