Vice President - Legal Counsel (Private Funds)
Location: London (Hybrid)
A leading global private markets investment manager is seeking an experienced funds lawyer to join its high-performing legal team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a sophisticated, internationally focused legal function supporting the full lifecycle of private investment funds, from product development and structuring through fundraising, investor on-boarding and ongoing fund management.
Working closely with investment professionals, investor relations, tax, compliance and external counsel, you'll play a key role in delivering complex cross-border fund launches while acting as a trusted commercial adviser to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on fund structuring and product development for new investment vehicles.
- Lead legal aspects of fund formation, fundraising and investor on-boarding.
- Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation, including LPAs, PPMs, subscription agreements and side letters.
- Coordinate fund launches across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise on regulatory developments affecting private funds.
- Work closely with senior internal stakeholders and manage external legal advisers.
- Provide ongoing legal support across existing fund platforms.

About You
You'll be a qualified lawyer with approximately 4-6 year's PQE gained either within a leading international law firm or an established investment manager.
You'll have strong experience advising on private investment funds, ideally within one or more of the following areas:
- Private Equity
- Private Credit
- Real Estate Funds

- Commercial judgement and stakeholder management experience.
