VP Loans Agency Transaction Manager
An exciting opportunity for a VP Loans Agency Transaction Manager to join a leading financial institution. In this role, you will manage client relationships and complex Loan Agency and Security Agent accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal/external stakeholders, driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.
This role involves overseeing administrative, operational, and risk management activities for high-value transactions, as well as contributing to the development of innovative products and services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review, analyse, and provide feedback on the negotiation and drafting of finance documents for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
- Resolve client service and control-related issues promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with external parties, such as attorneys, financial advisors, and service partners, to structure and close transactions efficiently.
- Execute account administration tasks, including cash flow processing, fee billing, reporting, and tickler management.
- Evaluate fees for suitability and alignment with fee schedules, and work with Fee Billing to ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the organisation at transaction closings, client meetings, and presentations, preparing relevant documentation to support client retention and growth.
- Lead or participate in departmental and corporate initiatives, including product development, fee structures, and service delivery improvements.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members in executing cash flows, fee billing, and reporting tasks.
- Advise on product changes, regulatory developments, or market shifts that may impact profitability and growth.
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit points and regulatory requirements.

Education and Experience Required

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with clients in syndicated loans agency.
- Strong ability to read, analyse, and interpret LMA documents.
- Competency in calculating financial figures, such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Knowledge of corporate structures, relevant laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
