About Nscale

At Nscale, we are building the infrastructure for the AI revolution. Nscale are developing cutting-edge sovereign generative AI solutions, powered by a new generation of high-performance, sustainable data centres and GPUs built specifically for AI workloads.

The growth of artificial intelligence is driving unprecedented global demand for compute and GPU infrastructure. Nscale is positioned at the heart of this transformation, building the platforms that will enable superintelligence.

Nscale are working closely with the world’s most advanced AI technology providers, integrating next-gen compute hardware and GPU clusters in both partner and Nscale built facilities. This is an opportunity to join Nscale’s journey, play a key role in delivering transformative AI infrastructure, and help shape a company designed to scale rapidly across Europe and beyond.

The Role

We’re looking for a well-connected, highly capable VP, Market Intelligence, to own Nscale’s view of the data centre market and act as our first point of contact for third-party DC capacity, and in many cases for land and power opportunities, across EMEA.

Reporting to the SVP Development, EMEA, and a senior member of the DCI team, you will drive our expansion strategy in existing and new markets and build the supplier relationships that give Nscale the best pool of supply options. You will qualify options and work with our Development Directors to secure capacity for realisation by the Nscale Delivery team. You will be hands-on, building a team around you, and will carry a strong external profile for Nscale in the markets that matter to us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence: Own Nscale’s view of the data centre industry, providing leading insight on industry-wide and individual market trends, the development pipeline by market and operator, and competitor capacity, contracts and strategy.
  • Expansion: Drive Nscale’s expansion strategy across existing and new markets and provide market briefings that guide where and when we grow and deploy.
  • Regional Alignment: Work hand in glove with the regional MDs to align market strategy with local targets and priorities.
  • Capacity Planning: Track capacity options and DC inventory timelines across self-build and third-party opportunities, so we know what can be secured, where, at what cost, and by when.
  • Demand Matching: Match end-user requirements to our development and delivery pipeline, so capacity is secured against real demand.
  • External Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with a broad group of capacity providers in key markets, acting as Nscale’s initial point of contact and ensuring access to supply options as needed.
  • Power & Land: Track grid connection timelines, power pricing and land availability across target markets, acting as initial point of contact with landowners, developers and utilities before handover to Development.
  • Benchmarking: Maintain cost and pricing benchmarks, and a rolling view of AI compute demand that sizes our pipeline.
  • Governance & Reporting: Provide regular market reporting to leadership and the board as a single agreed source of truth, plus rapid deep dives as needed.
  • Team Building & Leadership: Help build, establish and lead a high-performing market intelligence team, fostering collaboration with Development, Delivery, and Strategy & Corporate Development teams.
  • Industry Profile: Maintain a strong industry profile through conferences, networking and published insight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
