About The Opportunity

Meet is partnering with a leading independent Medical Communications agency seeking an experienced VP, Med Comms Strategy Consultant.

The role is suited to a seasoned medical communications professional with deep agency experience and a strong background in promotional medical education and commercial initiatives.

The Role

The VP, Med Comms Strategy Consultant will support strategic development and execution across promotional medical education initiatives while contributing to new business opportunities and working closely with the senior leadership team.

The successful candidate must have substantial medical communications agency experience and be able to travel within the Boston area.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Communications Strategy

  • Develop, lead, and execute promotional medical education initiatives.
  • Support programs including advisory boards, speaker bureaus, and congress materials.
  • Apply strategic expertise across commercial and promotional medical education activities.

Business Development

  • Actively prospect and contribute to new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of new client relationships and commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working within a medical communications agency.
  • Strong experience in promotional medical education and commercial initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, leading, and executing promotional medical education programs.
  • Experience with advisory boards, speaker bureaus, and congress materials.
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development and prospecting.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with senior leadership.
  • Previous medical communications agency experience is required.
  • Ability to travel within the Boston area.
