We're building the best media company in the world by 2031.

That isn't aspirational. 12 years of building has put us where almost no one else in this industry stands: a globally recognised audience of ~170M and a content engine that works at scale.

We’re looking for a VP of Content to shape and lead our content strategy as we enter our next chapter. This is the company’s most senior content role, reporting directly to the CEO.

You'll own the full content organisation: the flagship brands, the shift from curation to original content and owned IP, the push into YouTube and the budget that funds it all.

About the role

Flagship brand strategy: Take each of our brands from a high-performing social page to something with its own identity, audience and revenue streams. Every piece of IP we build sits within a flagship brand.

Original content and IP: Own the development pipeline from short-form formats through to long-form shows and YouTube franchises. Set what gets made, define the quality bar and know when to stop investing.

US first growth: Most of our new audience growth needs to come from the US. Every content decision should be made with that ambition in mind.

YouTube growth engine: Build a dedicated YouTube team and grow our flagship brands on the platform with formats made specifically for it. Organic growth comes first with channel acquisition where it makes financial sense.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Monetised original content: Own the revenue generated directly from content including platform income across the network, formats that make money beyond a media deal and licensing where it makes sense. Original content is a revenue line, not just a cost.

Products brands can buy: Turn editorial ideas into products the commercial team can sell: repeatable formats with clear mechanics and pricing. Take ideas from concept to sellable product, working closely with Commercial without compromising quality.

Content P&L: Own the full content budget across people, original content, creator and licensing spend. Every line should either open a new revenue stream or improve what already exists.

Organisation: Build a content organisation that doesn’t depend on any one person, including you. Create a clear brand-owner model, strong managers below you and development capability across both the UK and US.

Not in scope

  • Production execution: The Studio produces, you decide what gets made and why.
  • Talent management: We work with creators and their agencies, we don't represent them.
  • Day-to-day posting: You set the strategy, you're not running channels.

About you

We’re looking for a senior content leader from social publishing, digital media or the creator economy, with experience operating at exec level.

  • You've built original formats, shows or IP that audiences came back for and turned the winners into products brands paid for.
  • You know YouTube well: how channels grow, how formats travel and what it takes to build a compounding audience.
  • You've owned a real content budget and can defend every decision in it.
  • AI has already changed how you work. You've rewired your process around it, not bolted it on. Your team moves faster because of it.
  • You build leaders and systems, not reliance on yourself. Teams you've run kept performing after you left the room.
  • You have a genuine feel for US audiences and how they behave across platforms.

We are determined to create a diverse group at all levels of our company and we welcome all members of the community to apply for openings with us. As a leading Gen Z social publisher, we have a powerful global platform to better represent our audience and enable those who do not have equal opportunities to have their voices heard.
