VP Enterprise Data

London (3 days per week in office) | Up to £180,000 + Benefits

This is a rare opportunity to shape the enterprise data, AI, and technology strategy of a highly successful organisation. Sitting at executive leadership level, you will drive business-wide transformation through data, analytics, AI enablement, enterprise architecture, and technology leadership.

This newly created leadership role offers significant visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape long-term strategy across the organisation.

The Role

You will lead the enterprise data, analytics, architecture, AI, and core technology functions, ensuring data and systems provide measurable value across the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and delivering the enterprise data and technology strategy
  • Leading data engineering, analytics, enterprise systems architecture, and IT teams
  • Driving organisation-wide AI adoption, governance, and enablement initiatives
  • Establishing data governance frameworks, standards, and best practice
  • Owning enterprise data platforms, architecture decisions, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps
  • Building scalable reporting and analytics capabilities to support executive decision-making
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to align data and AI initiatives with business objectives
  • Leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Overseeing technology investments and ensuring clear business value and ROI

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience across enterprise data, analytics, architecture, and technology functions
  • Strong background in cloud data platforms and modern data ecosystems
  • Experience shaping and delivering enterprise-wide data strategies
  • Demonstrated success leading business transformation through data and AI
  • Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise architecture
  • Ability to operate credibly with executive and board-level stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes
  • Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams across data and technology
