Aventis Solutions

Aventis Solutions is helping build the commercial engine behind the AI-native enterprise. We’re partnering with an ambitious AI and technology company building the production and operations layer for the AI-native enterprise. This is not another AI SaaS business selling licenses. The company actually takes the intelligence being created by companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic and turns it into audit-ready, regulated, measurable output inside some of the world's largest financial institutions.

Think Bloomberg for data. Infosys for BPO. But AI-led, governed by design, and built for a $1.2 trillion global financial back- and middle-office market.

And now they're looking for a VP of Sales & Revenue / Director of Sales / Head of Sales / Chief Revenue Officer / Chief Commercial Officer to build the commercial engine behind it. This is an unusually important hire. You'll be responsible for taking a proven technology platform, established Tier 1 financial institution relationships, and a genuinely differentiated commercial model and turning them into a significant global revenue organization. The product is already in production across MUFG, HSBC, and UBS.

Key Details

  • Location: Remote-based with offices in Canary Wharf, London + satellite office in New York City
  • Salary: Circa £100,000-150,000 base + strong equity + bonuses. For US candidates with experience in the UK market: $200,000-300,000 depending on experience + benefits/bonuses & equity
  • Career Outlook: This is a genuine opportunity to build and lead the global commercial organization of a rapidly scaling AI company, with the potential to progress towards Chief Revenue Officer or broader commercial leadership as the company scales. Possibly even from day one

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Experience and Skills Desired

  • Enterprise Financial Services Sales: 8+ years selling complex enterprise managed services, BPO, AI, data platforms or technology solutions into Tier 1 banks, asset managers or insurance carriers.
  • Large Deal Experience: A demonstrable history of personally closing $5M+ ACV deals, with the ability to provide specific examples, named clients and deal sizes.
  • Financial Services Operating Model: Deep understanding of the economics and operating structures of bank middle and back offices, including cost per FTE, vendor consolidation, regulatory constraints, operating committees and model risk approval pathways.
  • Complex Commercial Architecture: Experience selling solutions where the commercial model goes beyond straightforward software licensing. You understand consumption, throughput, outcome-based pricing and how to structure commercial relationships around measurable value.
  • C-Level Selling: Comfortable sitting across the table from COOs, CIOs, business heads and operating committees at major financial institutions and building the commercial case for transformational technology.
  • Consultative Selling: You know how to create a commercial proposition rather than simply respond to an RFP. You can work with clients to design the solution, commercial model and implementation roadmap around their specific operating challenges.
  • Sales Leadership: Previous experience building and leading high-performing enterprise sales teams, ideally taking an organization from a small founding team towards 10+ commercial professionals.
  • P&L Experience: Previous P&L responsibility within financial services consulting, BPO, enterprise technology or data businesses would be highly attractive.
  • AI & Technology: You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to understand where AI is genuinely changing enterprise operations and be credible enough to sell that transformation to sophisticated technology and business leaders.
  • Global Financial Markets: Experience selling into major US or UK financial centres is highly valuable, particularly where you've navigated complex multinational organizations and multi-jurisdictional procurement.

Role Overview

We're looking for experience at a start-up firm or having gone from start-up to scale-up quickly. The company's global revenue has jumped 6x in the last year, and we're ready for expansion. You're being brought in to help define what the category looks like.

Simply put, we need you to sell, open new doors, and existing partnerships that can be improved.

The opportunity is to build the AI-native alternative to traditional financial services operations, where institutions pay for validated work rather than simply buying technology licenses or outsourcing large teams of people. That means you'll be involved in much more than pipeline management. You'll help define pricing, shape commercial structures, build enterprise sales strategy, develop strategic accounts, and recruit and lead the sales organization, all while working directly with the CEO and leadership team.
