Description

The VP of Sales role drives new business growth and will expand our footprint across the UK wealth management market. This is a quota-carrying sales role responsible for building relationships with wealth management firms, financial advisors, and private banks, and positioning CFRA's independent research and data solutions as essential to their investment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for UK wealth management clients - prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
  • Build and manage a pipeline of wealth management firms, financial advisors, and private banks
  • Develop a deep understanding of CFRA's research and data products to tailor solutions to client needs
  • Represent CFRA at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the UK
  • Partner with Research and Client Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client retention
  • Provide market feedback to leadership on competitive positioning, pricing, and product gaps
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5-7 years of sales experience in financial services, UK wealth managers, private banks, and advisory firms
  • Fluency in French or German required (both ideal) to support business development across European wealth management clients
  • Established network of relationships within UK wealth management firms
  • Ability to network within UK wealth management firms and build strong connections
  • Strong understanding of investment research, equity markets, and how wealth managers use third-party research in their process
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers
  • Self-starter who thrives in a small, independent, entrepreneurial environment
  • FCA-regulated industry experience a plus
