VP PEOPLE | AI INFRASTRUCTURE | LONDON

We’re hiring the first VP People for a business combining software with the physical infrastructure that powers AI.

With substantial backing, live deployments and international expansion underway, it’s moving from a small specialist team to a global organisation. Software engineers, infrastructure specialists and teams on the ground, delivering technically demanding projects across the UK, Europe and the US.

Your opportunity: help build a company people are proud to work for while the business goes through hyper growth.

Working closely with the founder, you’ll shape the culture, build the People function and help leaders navigate the jump from knowing everyone personally to leading hundreds of people across countries and time zones.

The pace is real. Delivery commitments matter. Your role is to help people do exceptional work with clear expectations, strong leadership and the support to succeed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Culture needs to be your craft.

  • How decisions get made.
  • Whether people speak up.
  • Who gets recognised.
  • What managers do when someone is struggling.
  • How the business behaves when a deadline is at risk.

You’ll care about those moments and have the influence to change them. You’ll challenge leaders thoughtfully, make working life simpler and build a sense of belonging across offices, remote teams and operational sites.

We’ll want to hear what you’ve changed before: the problem you noticed, the action you took and what employees experienced differently because of it.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience helping a tech business grow from roughly 50 to 400+ people, with personal ownership of the People foundations along the way.
  • The ability to move comfortably between founder-level conversations and hands-on delivery. Early on, plenty will need doing yourself.
  • International experience, including employment across different countries, EOR arrangements and the realities of leading across cultures.
  • Sound judgement about what needs structure now, what can wait and where a well-intended process is getting in people’s way.
  • Warmth, conviction and a real interest in the people doing the work.

AI, deeptech or AI Infrastructure experience would be valuable. Evidence of building a strong culture through comparable growth matters more.

You’ll own People, build your team as the business grows and partner with a dedicated Talent Acquisition leader.

£130,000–£150,000 base, with flexibility for exceptional experience, plus up to 60% bonus and equity participation.

An experienced VP or an outstanding Head of People ready for the number one seat could both be interesting.
