VP Operations - Private Credit/ Evergreen - Private Markets Investment Manager

Location: London

We are seeking an experienced fund/ product operations professional to support the oversight and continued development of evergreen funds. This is an opportunity to work across a growing private markets platform, engaging with a broad range of internal teams and external service providers.

The role will focus on the day-to-day operational oversight of non-US evergreen products, while also supporting product launches, regulatory requirements, process enhancements and the continued development of scalable infrastructure.

The Role

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of non-US evergreen products, ensuring accurate and timely completion of fund routines including cash management, credit facility and depositary oversight
  • Provide regulatory support across areas including Annex IV, EMIR, CSSF reporting and PRIIPs, while monitoring future regulatory developments and requirements
  • Support governance activities, including preparation for board meetings and management of commercial agreements in partnership with Legal
  • Support product launches, new share-class introductions and platform onboarding from an operational and regulatory perspective
  • Lead the development and enhancement of existing and future operational processes and infrastructure
  • Partner with Investor Relations, Private Wealth and Product teams on DDQs, ODD meetings, platform due diligence and investor queries relating to product operations and regulatory compliance
  • Support Portfolio Managers and Investment Specialists with ongoing product requirements
  • Oversee third-party service providers from a product perspective
  • Take ownership of additional responsibilities and projects as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have broad experience across fund, product or investment operations, with a strong understanding of private markets and/or evergreen funds.
  • Have hands-on experience of the European regulatory and commercial landscape relating to private markets; UCITS experience is advantageous.
  • Have a broad understanding of fund operations and governance, with a track record of building robust, scalable processes.
  • Be highly skilled in change and stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong relationships across an international, cross-functional organisation.
  • Be execution-focused, organised and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
  • Be comfortable operating in an environment where established precedents and processes may not always exist, and able to assess different solutions and adapt their approach to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Have an understanding of the private wealth ecosystem, including intermediary, platform and data-vendor relationships.
  • Have strong written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.

  • Degree or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Proven experience in fund, product or investment operations, or a related role within private markets, including private credit, private equity, evergreen products or UCITS
