To lead the engineering teams that build and ship OneAdvanced's sector SaaS products, translating product strategy into a technical roadmap and delivering it through the "OneStack" Agentic SDLC. You will drive a 6x delivery performance multiplier, uphold the highest standards of quality, security and user experience, and ensure product engineering initiatives are executed on time and aligned to customer and business needs.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary VP of Product Engineering to lead the development and delivery of OneAdvanced's sector SaaS products. You will lead a talented team of engineers, define the technical roadmap for your products, and own the end-to-end execution of product engineering initiatives, from ideation through to deployment and ongoing optimisation. You are a strategic technologist with a strong hands-on engineering background and proven delivery leadership. You partner closely with Product Management, Design and cross-functional stakeholders to turn product requirements into achievable engineering goals, and with the Platform Architecture & Engineering and Reliability & Technology Operations functions to build on the shared platform fabric and agentic engineering practices, rather than duplicating them. You are accountable for the quality, scalability, security and user experience of everything your teams ship.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership & Technical Vision
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and manage the product engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Technical Vision & Roadmap: Define the technical vision and roadmap for your products, aligning them with the overall business strategy, the enterprise architecture blueprint, and customer needs.
- Continuous Improvement Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation, learning, and knowledge sharing within the product engineering team.
Product Development Lifecycle & Delivery
- Cross-Functional Translation: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical specifications and achievable engineering goals.
- End-to-End Delivery: Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Engineering Best Practice: Oversee the implementation of best practices in software development, quality assurance, and release management to ensure efficient and scalable product engineering processes.
- Delivery Management: Prioritise tasks, manage resources, and deliver results within tight deadlines, using Agile development methodologies and modern product engineering tools and practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
