About The Role

As the Vice President of Professional Services, you will lead a global organization responsible for delivering world-class implementation, consulting, adoption, integration, optimization, and managed services for enterprise technology customers. You will own the strategy, execution, and financial performance of the Professional Services business while ensuring customers realize measurable value from their technology investments.

This executive leadership role requires a proven operator who can scale services organizations, drive operational excellence, improve customer outcomes, and build high-performing teams. You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Executive Leadership to accelerate customer adoption, expand services revenue, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the global Professional Services strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop multi-year plans for service offerings, delivery models, resource capacity, and geographic expansion.
  • Serve as a key member of the Customer Experience and Executive Leadership teams.

Professional Services Business Management

  • Own Professional Services P&L, including bookings, revenue, margin, utilization, backlog, and forecasting.
  • Drive operational efficiency and profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, delivery metrics, and executive dashboards to measure organizational performance.

Customer Success & Value Realization

  • Ensure successful delivery of enterprise deployments, migrations, integrations, and transformation programs.
  • Build executive-level relationships with strategic customers and act as an escalation point for critical engagements.
  • Implement best practices that accelerate customer time-to-value and product adoption.

Services Portfolio & Innovation

  • Develop and evolve consulting, implementation, advisory, training, managed services, and premium support offerings.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and create scalable service packages aligned with market demand.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence product direction based on customer feedback and implementation experience.

Global Delivery Excellence

  • Establish methodologies, governance frameworks, quality standards, and delivery best practices.
  • Lead program management, resource management, and project delivery functions.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence across regions, teams, and customer engagements.

Talent Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and consulting professionals.
  • Build a culture of accountability, customer obsession, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales leadership on services strategy, deal qualification, scoping, pricing, and customer success planning.
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Product, Renewals and Support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Influence strategic business decisions through data-driven insights and customer intelligence.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 20+ years of experience in Professional Services, Consulting, Customer Success, or Technology Services leadership.
  • 10+ years leading large-scale, customer-facing teams in an enterprise software or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing a Global Professional Services P&L exceeding 70M+.
  • Proven experience scaling global service delivery organizations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, margin management, resource planning, and revenue growth.
  • Experience working with enterprise and strategic customers across complex technology environments.
  • Track record of driving customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud platform, cybersecurity, data management, AI, infrastructure software, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and technology adoption frameworks.
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams across multiple regions.
