About The Role
Volta is building a global portfolio of AI infrastructure at a pace and scale few companies have attempted – billions of dollars of capital deployed across data centers, power infrastructure, and compute clusters on multiple continents. Keeping that portfolio on time, on budget, and on plan is mission-critical, and that's where you come in.
As VP, Project Controls Function Manager, you will own the systems, standards, and team that give Volta's leadership a clear, real-time view of cost, schedule, and risk across every active project. You will report directly to the CDO and act as a trusted advisor on capital deployment and delivery risk, translating complex, multi-site programs into clear decisions for the executive team and the Board.
This is a build-it-yourself mandate: you'll stand up scalable project controls processes and tooling from the ground up, and build the team that will run them as Volta's footprint continues to grow.
What You Will Be Doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
