Your Role

We are seeking a senior, commercially-astute Vice President to lead Capgemini Invent’s Public Sector Physical Infrastructure business, shaping and delivering strategy, growth and client success across transport, energy, national estates and major programmes in the Public Sector.

In this role you will play a key part in:

  • Lead strategic relationships with National Highways, The Crown Estate, and the Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal (R&R) Authority, positioning Capgemini as their trusted digital and transformation partner.
  • Develop and take to market propositions across digital infrastructure, sustainability & net-zero, asset management, major project delivery, capital programme optimisation and modern infrastructure integration.
  • Own and drive the growth plan, aligned to Invent’s strategy, for our Infrastructure business. This will include:
    • Growth within established accounts such as National Highways RIS3/RIS4, Crown Estate renewables and the R&R Integration Partner role; and
    • Expansion into related Public Sector related rail, water & energy markets and their supply chain partners.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact consulting engagements spanning digital transformation, engineering/construction & digital convergence and major programme assurance.
  • Generate c. £4m+ of annual consulting revenue by leveraging your network, Invent’s established relationships and Capgemini Group assets.

Role

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Engaging at C-Suite level clients, developing relationships and defining strategies and delivery roadmaps for capital programmes and asset portfolios. You will have accountability for originating and closing new opportunities, showing strong understanding of commercial levers and processes. Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

We are looking for an accomplished infrastructure consulting leader with the following capabilities:

  • Deep experience delivering major programmes or advisory services across public-sector infrastructure, including transport, estates, energy, nuclear, water or capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure investment cycles such as RIS, Control Periods and AMP cycles.
  • Highly collaborative with proven success shaping propositions combining consulting, engineering, data and digital capabilities.
  • Experience scaling and inspiring teams, shaping practice strategy and driving commercial outcomes (c. £4m+ annual revenue).
  • Understanding of digital infrastructure technologies, digital twins, asset intelligence, carbon modelling and assurance frameworks.
  • Eligibility for UK security clearance (SC/DV) preferred.
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.4m of consulting revenues.
