TalentEdge Technology is representing a leading global media, marketing and technology organisation that brings together media intelligence, data, partnerships and AI-enabled technology to help major brands improve marketing performance and drive measurable growth.

Our client is seeking a delivery-focused and commercially minded Vice President – Development to lead its UK Solutions Development function. This newly created senior leadership role will own the UK technology stack, platform operations, product engineering delivery and development of scalable, innovative media solutions.

  • Translate business and commercial priorities into clear, actionable plans, delivery milestones and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead product engineering, platform operations, quality assurance, release management and software delivery standards.
  • Own system architecture and make informed decisions about scalability, technical feasibility, speed of delivery and long-term sustainability.
  • Establish and embed effective agile frameworks, ways of working and delivery disciplines, evolving the current Kanban approach toward a more strategic and scalable model.
  • Act as a guardian of delivery quality, ensuring teams are accountable for commitments, standards, outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Introduce and maintain appropriate development lifecycle practices, including JIRA, Confluence, testing and SDLC governance.
  • Create an environment that supports rapid experimentation through a ‘try fast, fail cheap’ approach, while retaining appropriate technical and operational controls.
  • Ensure AI-native thinking and AI engineering capabilities are incorporated from the outset of solution design and development.
  • Build learning loops into product and engineering delivery, using feedback, experimentation and performance data to improve future solutions.
  • Identify and develop strategic technology partnerships where these can accelerate innovation, capability or commercial impact.
  • Work closely with the VP of Design to ensure solutions are commercially relevant, user-focused and technically deliverable.
  • Collaborate with the client’s international technology ecosystem, Data & Technology and Media Solutions teams to leverage global capabilities and adapt them to UK market requirements.
  • Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing multidisciplinary team, including setting expectations, supporting progression and developing future leaders.
  • Manage internal and external development partners, ensuring quality, delivery performance and alignment with roadmap objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
