Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vice President, Strategic Finance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead debt financing processes across the BW ESS portfolio, including project finance, HoldCo debt, revolving credit facilities and other structured financing solutions across all of BW ESS’ geographies
  • Work closely with the CEO, CFO and Director of Strategic Finance on financing strategy as well as capital formation and allocation.
  • Manage financing workstreams from inception to financial close, including lenders, due diligence advisors and documentation.
  • Support equity raises, asset selldowns, joint ventures, M&A processes and other strategic transactions as required.
  • Analyse financing structures, project and company returns, funding requirements and portfolio financing opportunities.
  • Help optimise capital structures and support capital recycling across the portfolio.
  • Provide broader support to the Strategic Finance team on transactions, business planning and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience raising and/or issuing infrastructure debt, ideally including project finance, HoldCo debt and corporate facilities
  • Experience leading financing processes and managing lenders, advisors and due diligence workstreams.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and understanding of capital structures.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Renewable energy, infrastructure or energy transition experience preferred (ideally in the BESS sector)
  • Equity fundraising, M&A or asset selldown experience desirable.
  • Demonstrable track record of executing financing transactions and bringing deals to close.
