VP Strategic Metals

IN SHORT

SEFE is building a strategic metals platform focused on critical minerals and energy-transition supply chains. In this role, you will establish SEFE as a recognised strategic partner to German industry, building a strong pipeline of strategic relationships and commercial opportunities across the critical minerals and energy-transition ecosystem.

We are seeking a senior industry leader to develop executive-level relationships and originate strategic opportunities across key sectors. This role is focused on ecosystem building, strategic origination and stakeholder engagement rather than traditional commodity sales.

What Will You Do

  • Develop and maintain senior relationships across German industry, including automotive, defence, industrial manufacturing, energy-transition sectors, industry associations and key government stakeholders.
  • Originate and develop strategic opportunities across critical mineral supply, offtake agreements, inventory solutions, financing structures, recycling initiatives and broader value-chain partnerships.
  • Help position SEFE as a strategic platform connecting mining companies, refiners, recyclers, industrial consumers, financial institutions and public-sector organisations.
  • Partner with SEFE's Public Affairs and Government Relations teams, providing market insight and industry expertise to support stakeholder engagement and policy discussions.
  • Act as the link between German industrial customers and SEFE's trading, origination and structuring teams, developing commercial solutions across supply, risk management, inventory, financing and strategic partnerships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
