Job Role: Cyber Vulnerability Researcher
Location: Gloucester, Manchester or London (Onsite)
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

Join a specialist cyber team working at the forefront of National Security, tackling some of the UK's most complex and challenging cyber threats. This is a unique opportunity for experienced Vulnerability Researchers and Reverse Engineers to work on mission-critical projects across a wide range of platforms and technologies.

Key Responsibilities of a Cyber Vulnerability Researcher
- Conduct vulnerability research across a wide variety of platforms and technologies
- Perform reverse engineering on complex software and systems
- Support exploit development and proof-of-concept creation
- Develop and utilise bespoke tooling to support research activities
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary technical teams
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members
- Deliver findings and technical insights to a range of audiences
What We're Looking For in a Cyber Vulnerability Researcher
- Experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering or exploit development
- Familiarity with tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Unicorn and debugging platforms
- Knowledge of low-level programming and system internals
- Understanding of the vulnerability and exploit development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- A passion for cybersecurity and emerging threats
- Experience gained through professional work, bug bounty programmes, research projects or Capture The Flag competitions is highly valued
