About Us

We have recently opened a brand-new restaurant, 74 Duke, in Mayfair and are looking for skilled, charismatic, and passionate waiters to bring energy, warmth, and excellence to our front-of-house team.

74 Duke is a beautifully designed space offering an exceptional dining experience, combining high-quality French cuisine in a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere from morning to night.

This exciting new opening is the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognized food concepts, including NAC, Crème, and Supernova. With a strong presence in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Hospitality is renowned for blending creativity with operational excellence, delivering outstanding dining experiences across multiple markets.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious new concept at 74 Duke, working closely with senior management to create a standout hospitality experience.

Position Summary

As a Waiter at 74 Duke, you will play a vital role in delivering warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest. You will be responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience, offering recommendations, ensuring smooth service flow, and upholding the highest hospitality standards.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for great food, people, and hospitality — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining genuine warmth and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, friendly, and professional service at all times.
  • Guide guests through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring dietary requirements are communicated.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, resetting tables efficiently and adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Manage bookings, guest requests, and any issues with poise and discretion.
  • Handle payments and operate POS systems with accuracy.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a waiter or front-of-house team member in a high-volume, quality-driven venue.
  • A passion for hospitality, people, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • A team player who works well with all departments.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service times.
