Historic coaching inn in the Surrey Hills

With a busy dining room and rooms, we host locals, walkers, cyclists, and overnight guests from breakfast to dinner.

The role

Deliver warm, efficient table service with great product knowledge and clean, professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, seat, and manage tables; follow our sequence of service
  • Take orders accurately (allergens checked), input to EPOS, run food & drinks
  • Recommend dishes, sides, desserts, and drinks
  • Carry 3 plates/tray service confidently; clear and reset swiftly
  • Handle payments and resolve issues with care, escalating when needed
  • Set up/close down sections; complete cleaning and opening/closing checklists
  • Support breakfast for residents when required and service in the garden during fine weather
