Event Waiters Required - Fairmont Hotel
£12.31 per hour | One-Day Event Shift
Location: Fairmont Hotel, St Andrews
Shift: 11:00am - 11:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Are you confident, personable and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? We are recruiting Event Waiters to support a large, high-profile hospitality event.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, professional environment while working alongside an experienced hospitality team at a prestigious venue.
Transport is available, making it easier for candidates travelling from Dundee and surrounding areas to attend.
This role requires individuals who can remain professional under pressure, work efficiently as part of a team, and provide exceptional service to guests throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving drinks and refreshments to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting with table service during the event
- Ensuring guests receive a high standard of customer care at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards within service areas
- Supporting the wider hospitality team to ensure smooth event operations
- Following all venue procedures and health and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For
- A positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-presented with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous hospitality, waiting, bar or events experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
