Job Description:
About Us
We are thrilled to be opening our brand-new venue in November in the iconic Battersea Power Station - one of London’s most exciting and vibrant destinations. We are building a team that lives and breathes hospitality: our mission is simple - to make every guest feel welcomed, valued, and delighted from the moment they walk through our doors.
We believe that attitude beats experience. We can teach you the skills, but we look for people with warmth, energy, and a genuine desire to create happy memories for every guest. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us right from the start and grow with the business.
The Role
As part of our Front of House team, you will be the friendly face of our new venue. You’ll play a key part in shaping our reputation for great service and guest satisfaction. Whether it’s greeting guests, serving food and drinks, or keeping the space looking its best, your focus will always be on making every visit a special one.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests with a warm smile and showing them to their table
- Taking orders accurately and communicating clearly with kitchen and bar teams
- Serving food and drinks efficiently, professionally, and with care and attention
- Checking in regularly to ensure guests are comfortable, happy, and have everything they need
- Handling payments, enquiries, and any requests politely and confidently
- Keeping dining areas, tables, and service stations clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Working closely with the whole team to create a positive, energetic, and supportive atmosphere
- Following all health, safety, and hygiene standards to keep everyone safe

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
