Mimi Mei Fair is an upscale Chinese restaurant serving elegant, flavour-packed dishes in an opulent and atmospheric setting. Inspired by Chinese heritage and artistry, our stunning interiors provide the perfect stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Miko Mei Fair brings a fresh, modern take on Thai cuisine to Mayfair, with fire-led cooking, bold flavours, and a sleek, vibrant space designed for great food, exceptional drinks, and unforgettable moments.

The Role

As Waitress/Waiter, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of service, leading the floor team, and ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable visit. You will act as the bridge between front of house and management, maintaining our exacting standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Service Leadership

  • Lead by example to deliver consistently exceptional service
  • Oversee all bookings, guest notes, and special requirements
  • Ensure all areas are fully prepared for service
  • Coach and support team members to maintain standards

Product & Service Knowledge

  • Maintain good knowledge of our menu, wines, cocktails, and allergens
  • Share the story, history, and artistry of Mimi Mei Fair with guests
  • Maximise sales opportunities through confident, thoughtful recommendations
  • Train and mentor team members on product knowledge

Health, Safety & Licensing

  • Ensure all licensing laws and company policies are followed
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues, resolving hazards immediately
  • Escalate any serious issues promptly to management

Organisation & Cleanliness

  • Oversee section cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift
  • Manage opening and closing procedures for the floor
  • Ensure all equipment and service areas meet hygiene and maintenance standards
