Part-time Waiting List Administrator

We currently have a post for a Part-time Waiting List Administrator working in our expanding Endoscopy service which covers City Campus, Treatment Centre and QMC Campus.

Working Hours

  • Part-time 22.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am – 19:30pm
  • Weekend working between the hours of 07:30 - 16:00pm on a flexible fair share rota basis
  • Shifts negotiable

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a busy and fast-paced team
  • Prioritise your own workload, be confident, flexible, and adaptable to varying situations
  • Book patients onto the correct waiting list within the appropriate time frame
  • Cover the busy front-facing reception area
  • Welcome patients to the Endoscopy Unit
  • List patients onto the appropriate waiting list and contact patients to book them an appointment within the correct timescale
  • Knowledge of cancer pathway targets would be an advantage
