Role Overview
To take an active part in controlling in-patient waiting lists and admissions in accordance with the Trust's Waiting List Management policies.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for Delivery: Have responsibility for the delivery of highly efficient and effective clerical support.
- Maintain Waiting Lists: Maintain all inpatient and day case waiting lists.
- Patient Allocation: Allocate patients to an appropriate theatre session.
- Notification: Notifying patients of admission dates and allocate an appropriate appointment.
- Monitoring Compliance: Monitoring waiting lists to ensure compliance with National Guidance.

- The Royal Liverpool University Hospital: The largest hospital in the country to provide inpatients with 100% single en-suite bedrooms and mainly focuses on complex planned care and specialist services.
