Job Opportunity: Planned Care Team

We have an exciting opportunity for individuals to join the Planned Care Team supporting the delivery of additional Outpatient, Inpatient/Day case activity in our efforts to reduce current elective waiting times to below 52 weeks.

About the Role

These posts will be based in the Planned Care Team and will work across a variety of specialties within Acute Services in the management of waiting lists, booking of theatre lists and managing the cross boundary working with National Treatment Centres. The post holders will be based in Ninewells Hospital and will require to work within several existing waiting list teams.

Responsibilities

Applicants should have a team working approach and possess excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. A sound understanding of the management of elective waiting lists, NHS Tayside Access Policy and Waiting Times Guidance and Trakcare booking processes are essential to the role.

Employment Conditions

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work: 36 hours per week.
