Waiting On Staff - Carden Park Hotel

Location: Broxton Road, Chester, Cheshire, CH3 9DQ


Role: Waiting On Assistant

Hours: Various full and part-time contracts available or enjoy the flexibility of a 0-hour contract to suit your lifestyle, shifts available include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Hourly Rate: Up to £12.71 per hour, plus service charge, plus extensive benefits.


About the Role

Breakfast is one of the most important parts of a guest’s day, and our Breakfast Waiting Team plays a key role in making it a memorable one.

We’re looking for friendly, passionate, and enthusiastic team members to join our restaurant breakfast team. Working across our beautiful restaurants, you’ll be responsible for delivering warm, attentive service and ensuring every guest feels welcomed from the moment they arrive.

Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, we have a variety of shifts available to suit different lifestyles.

Your Day With Team Carden

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service throughout breakfast
  • Welcome guests warmly and create a relaxed and enjoyable start to their day
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Have a good knowledge of the breakfast menu, ingredients, and available options
  • Ensure guests receive their food and drinks promptly and to a high standard
  • Work closely with the kitchen and wider restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient breakfast service
  • Keep tables, service areas, and the restaurant clean, organised, and well presented
  • Be attentive to guests’ needs and respond positively to any requests or queries
  • Support your team to create a welcoming, positive, and energetic breakfast environment
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and confidently communicate allergen information to guests

About You

  • A positive and approachable personality with a passion for hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to engage with guests
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-presented, organised, and reliable
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
  • A willingness to learn and deliver consistently high standards
  • Flexible to work various shifts

Due to the rural location of Carden Park, applicants should have access to a vehicle or reliable transport methods. However, we have free regular transport from Wrexham Town centre to the hotel every day.
