RJS Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a care home in Penzance
As a Waking Night Care Assistant, you will help residents feel safe, comfortable and well supported throughout the night. You’ll be joining a friendly team that puts dignity, kindness and individual choice at the heart of its care.

- Supporting residents with their individual night-time routines
- Responding promptly and calmly to call bells
- Assisting with personal care, toileting, repositioning and hydration
- Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks
- Following individual care plans and reporting any concerns
- Accurately updating electronic care records
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
- Providing a clear and detailed handover to the day team
About You
- A calm, caring and patient approach
- Previous experience in a healthcare capacity, all settings considered
- The confidence to work independently when required
- Good communication and observation skills
- Basic IT skills for completing electronic care records
- A reliable and responsible attitude
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- An understanding of safeguarding and health and safety, or a willingness to learn
