Children’s Waking Night Support Worker – Make a Difference Through the Night

£14–£15 per hour | Weekly Pay

Waking Night Shifts Available

Are you a calm, reliable, and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference? We’re recruiting Children’s Waking Night Support Workers to support young people with EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) and challenging behaviour within residential settings.

This is a key role where you’ll help provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment overnight. You’ll be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of young people, completing regular checks, maintaining a peaceful setting, and responding appropriately to any situations that arise during the night.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of young people throughout the night
  • Conducting regular checks and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing and responding to challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
  • Supporting with night-time routines and any waking needs
  • Working as part of a supportive care team

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience working with children and young people in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence – essential
  • A patient, resilient, and dependable approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
