Trevone House, Gloucester (City Centre)
Reporting To
Senior Support Worker / Team Leader
Salary
£30,659 - £32,526 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Shift Pattern
This is a waking night position, working 12-hour night shifts from 19:30 - 07:30 on a rotational rota.
Role Description
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment throughout the night, responding to the needs of young people, completing welfare checks, supporting emotional wellbeing, and ensuring the smooth running of the service outside of daytime hours.

Trevone House is Gloucestershire County Council's flagship semi-independent accommodation service for young people aged 16-25. We support care leavers to build independence, develop life skills, and create positive pathways into adulthood.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide overnight support to young people, helping to maintain their safety and wellbeing, responding to any incidents or emergencies, offering reassurance where needed, and ensuring accurate record-keeping throughout the night. You will be an important part of creating a stable and supportive environment where young people feel safe and cared for.

You'll be fully supported from day one and provided with the training and qualifications needed to succeed in your role.
Before commencing work at Trevone House, you'll undertake our fully funded two-week induction programme, covering topics including:
