Make a Difference That Truly Matters – Children’s Support Workers

Paragon Social Care

More Than a Job. An Opportunity to Change Young Lives.

At Paragon Social Care, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported. We work with children and young people in local authority care, helping them navigate challenging circumstances, build resilience, and move towards a brighter future.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and emotionally resilient Children’s Support Workers who want to make a genuine difference. If you are passionate about helping young people overcome challenges and reach their potential, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Role

No two days are the same. Whether you are helping a young person through a difficult moment, encouraging them to attend education, or supporting them to develop independence, your contribution can have a lasting impact.

You will provide trauma-informed care across residential settings and community-based support packages, working alongside a professional team dedicated to improving young people's lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building positive, trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Providing consistent support during challenging situations.
  • Supporting daily routines, education, independence, and life skills.
  • Encouraging positive activities, hobbies, and healthy routines.
  • Supporting appointments and community activities, including transport where required.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to safeguarding and care planning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
