An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time, highly motivated Ward Clerk to join the Critical Care Unit covering a 7 day week service with a team of Ward Clerks.

Full training will be given. The post is advertised as a 31 hour contract, this is not fixed a further reduction of hours will be considered.

The post provides an exciting challenge to the successful candidate given the opportunity to play a key role in the continuing development of the service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about high standards to work with in a team dedicated to excellence.

The Role

You should possess good communication skills, previous office experience, and experience of dealing with the public/patients would be beneficial.

The ability to work as part of a team and keyboard / IT skills are essential.

Previous hospital experience and knowledge of Patient Centre / EPR would be highly desirable, however training can be provided.

Clerical duties - PAS, Tracking notes - requesting appointments, communication with patient and visitors.

The ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities would be an advantage.
