Band 2 Ward Clerk (Orthopaedic Trauma Unit)
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our busy Orthopaedic Trauma Unit.
You will work in a culture that puts the patient first, where our colleagues feel proud of their role and are valued for their contribution.
Job Details
This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week (two week rotation pattern: Week One: Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday 07:00-17:30, Tuesday 10:00-17:30 OR Tuesday 07:00-15:00 and Week Two: Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday 07:00-17:30, Friday 10:00-17:30 OR Saturday 07:00-15:00).
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to all who visit the department.
- Work confidently within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels.
- Work quickly under pressure.
- Consistently and accurately carry out duties.
- Provide a high quality and efficient service in a confident and courteous way to service users.

Requirements
- Experience of working within an administrative environment.
- Proficiency in using multiple computer systems.
- Data management skills (electronic and paper-based).
- Full compliance with local procedures, deadlines and best practice.
