Looking for a rewarding administration role where you can make a real difference to your local community?
A rare opportunity has become available to join the friendly administration team at Wallingford Community Hospital on a part-time maternity cover contract. With the potential to last 6–12 months, this role offers an excellent chance to gain valuable NHS administration experience, develop your skills, and become part of a supportive and welcoming team.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and personable individual who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors, and colleagues while ensuring our administrative services run efficiently.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and enjoy working in a busy and challenging environment, providing a comprehensive administrative service.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with a diverse range of people in a sensitive and confidential manner.
- Strong organisational and IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- You will be comfortable multitasking, working in a fast paced environment, and prioritising workloads effectively.
