Ward Service Department Positions

The ward service department currently have positions available for people who would like to work in a busy healthcare setting and are willing to work hard to help make the patient stay a safe one by maintaining a high level of cleanliness.

Job Responsibilities

These positions involve cleaning of wards, departments, Theatres, isolation areas, and general areas. We also provide breakfast, lunch, and supper meal services to in-patients.

The main duties are:

  • Cleaning wards, departments, Theatres, isolation areas, and general areas to a high standard.
  • Cleaning of sanitary areas i.e. bathrooms and W/Cs.
  • Use of heavy industrial cleaning machines i.e. scrubber dryers.

Ward Services also provide food and beverage services to in-patients.

Requirements

  • Full training will be given but previous cleaning experience is required.
  • Previous catering experience is desirable.
